The Truth Doesn't Matter



For over 22 years now, Caritas Health Shield has been in the business of managing the health needs of not only Filipino families, but the officers and staff of various industries as well. It has the widest reach, having established its presence in 87 urban centers nationwide with over 600,000 members. It has been meaningfully contributing to the national health concern in nation building. This has been the touchstone of our corporate commitment and existence. In recent days however, there has been a well-orchestrated campaign perpetrated by unscrupulous quarters to discredit and smear our company. Caritas Health Shield does not condone, much less ignore any fraudulent act committed by any individual in its organization. Guidelines with sanctions are in place. Further, all complaints are promptly acted upon and erring personnel are dealt with accordingly. Some have been terminated. Our company has its own share of erring agents. But every effort is exerted to address the matter at the soonest possible time. We always strive to maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in the conduct of our business. Caritas Health Shield remains a financially robust and vibrant organization.

I laugh at this. They think that the insurance commission doesn't have the intelligence to know and accuse them as instruments by "unscrupulous quarters". What a shame. My gawd! You have more than 100 cases of unauthorized credit card swiping! It will be to IC's shame if they don't notice this. Kudos to the IC for doing their job.

Further, all complaints are promptly acted upon and erring personnel are dealt with accordingly.

Really? It seems that your prompt actions are 3 months after the complaint. And this is what is prompt to you? You want the complainer to get tired of all the hassle you cause by delaying their claims so you get their money by default?

Pumapanting ang taenga ko sa "erring personnel are dealt with accordingly". According to my research, most of the cases happened in the south of manila, from Makati to Cavite. To think that you are present nationwide tsaka marami-rami din kayo, dapat even ang distribution ng complaint. Sa tingin ko may isang manager lang yan na tinatago nyo o prinoprotektahan nyo. You claim to have 87 branches and almost 80% of credit card swiping FRAUD are concentrated in these areas? Who are you protecting?

Some are even terminated

The people terminated are those who commit the crimes, the fall guys/girls. But the ones creating and harboring them are not touched! They are not terminated. Gagohan lang?!
